This Lunitsa was forged on Monday (Moon Day) January 27th, under a waxing moon. The setting is sterling silver. I made offerings to the moon of the oils of night-blooming plants, of silver, of cedar smoke, and of clear spirit. I invoked all the moon deities I work with, and chanted into each piece as I forged it a request for blessings from the moon, for guidance both through and from darkness and the night as best suits the owner, and for protection and to keep the owner safe from harm. I chanted runes of protection into it as well.
Lastly, I quenched the pendant in beeswax to give it a protective coating, which also gives it the black finish.
