Full Moon Lunitsa - Moonstone - Small 2

This Lunitsa was forged under the July 3rd Full Moon in Capricorn. I have an altar to the moon in my shop, and I made offerings to the moon and asked for the moon's blessing of this work. The offerings I made were of the oils of night-blooming plants, of silver, of cedar smoke, and of clear spirit. I invoked all the moon deities I work with, and chanted into each piece as I forged it a request for blessings from the moon, for protection, and for guidance both through and from darkness and the night as best suits the owner. I chanted runes of protection into it as well. Every month, I capture the image of the full moon in rainwater. Once the setting and the lunitsa are forged, I quench them in this water of the stolen images of the full moon along with the moonstone. The water holds not just this full moon’s image and energy, but the images of all the full moons since October of 2019. Lastly, I quench the pendant in beeswax to give it a protective coating, which also gives it the black finish.

This pendant comes on a black deer skin lace cord approximately 32" long (hangs approximately 16"). The cord is double knotted to be adjustable. If you would prefer a vegan/nylon cord, please let me know and I'll be happy to send you the pendant with the preferred cord.
