• Image of Full Moon Lunitsa

This Lunitsa was forged under the February 8th full moon. The bead is sterling silver also made under the full moon. I made offerings to the moon of the oils of night-blooming plants, of silver, of cedar smoke, and of clear spirit. I invoked all the moon deities I work with, and chanted into each piece as I forged it a request for blessings from the moon, for guidance both through and from darkness and the night as best suits the owner, and for protection and to keep the owner safe from harm. I chanted runes of protection into it as well.
Every month, I captured the image of the full moon in rainwater. Once the setting and the lunitsa are forged, I quenched them in this water of the stolen image of the full moon.
Lastly, I quenched the pendant in beeswax to give it a protective coating, which also gives it the black finish.
