Welcome, and thank you for visiting. I'm Nathan Zilka and this is my shop. I’ve been blacksmithing for over 7 years. My work focuses on functionality, simplicity, and authenticity. In the current resurgence of handmade metalwork, my ethos is about doing as much as I can within the traditional foundations of blacksmithing. While there is a lot of stock removal work, milling, power hammers, and the like used to create some truly wonderful items, I choose to stick to the basics. A hammer, an anvil, the tools I hand make, and my forge. I leave my work as close to forge finished as practical.
